什麼是冬灸?

「三九冬灸」是天灸的一種，是在一年中天地的陰氣最盛、陽氣最弱的日子進行灸治。「三九」是冬至後的三個九天，三九天前後是一年中陽氣相對較弱的時侯，適宜用辛熱的藥物敷貼於穴位上，維護身體的正氣以抵禦疾病，或治療各種寒性疾病如咳喘、泄瀉、風濕骨痛等病。傳統以來，亦鼓勵在這段日子進補和鍛鍊身體，振奮身體的陽氣來抵禦寒冬。

適用對象：

體質虛寒易感冒、哮喘、氣管敏感、鼻敏感、風濕骨痛、經痛、子宮虛寒、胃脹、胃痛、泄瀉、手足冰冷、疲勞綜合症等。

What is TianJiu？

There is a special moxibustion therapy, called “TianJiu”, which is applying topical herbal medication on designated accupoints considered by RCMPs.  In traditional Chinease medicine theory, we trust the health condition can be improved by applying TianJiu moxibustion therapy, especially for those with allergy problem, respiratory disease or in weakness health condition.  To achieve the TCM theory of “Preventive Treatment of Disease”, it is usually applying TianJiu twice a year: in summer and winter.  It is an interesting saying that winter disease may be cured in summer by applying Summer TianJiu whereas summer disease may be prevented in winter by applying Winter TianJiu.
